Family Reinforcement Act

A bill to amend title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to permit the Secretary of Education to waive the requirements of subsection (c), (d), or (e) of section 126 of such Act in the case of local educational agencies participating in experimental State programs that increase local flexibility in the use of educational funds by consolidating certain categorical educational programs.

A bill to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 to extend the rollover period for nonrecognition of gain on the sale of principal residences sold during 1980 or 1981.

A bill to amend title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to permit the Secretary of Education to waive the requirements of subsections (c), (d), or (e) of section 126 of such Act in the case of any local educational agency which is participating in an experimental State program designed to consolidate State categorical educational programs in order to reduce the amount of time expended by State educational personnel for the administration of such programs and to increase local flexibility in the use of educational funds.

A bill to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 to provide that, in the case of an employee annuity, the employee may elect to exclude from gross income all amounts received by the employee under the annuity until the employee recovers his consideration for the annuity, without regard to whether such consideration is recovered during the first 3 years of the annuity.

A bill to provide for annual adjustments in the cost of the thrifty food plan and the standard deduction under the Food Stamp Program.

A bill to amend the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977 to provide that the provisions of such Act shall not apply to stone mining operations, sand and gravel mining operations, or certain surface construction operations.

A bill to revoke the temporary withdrawal of certain lands, located in Inyo County, California, from settlement, location sale, or entry.

A bill to provide for the United States to hold in trust for the Tule River Indian Tribe certain public domain lands formerly removed from the Tule River Indian Reservation.

A bill to establish the true location of a portion of northerly boundary of the Angeles National Forest, located in Los Angeles County, California, on the common line between sections 16 and 17, township 4 north, range 10 west, San Bernardino meridian, and to establish the center quarter corner of said section 16.
